These regulations give a unique chance to those who have no higher education, but have accumulated great experience as part of their work, for example, cooks, guides, joiners, jewelers, information technicians, wine-makers, metal craftsmen, and felt craftsmen. Such people can apply to vocational education institutions, where their previous informal education will be recognized and rewarded. These people are professionals with professional diplomas and they are able to respond challenges and requests of today’s labor market and get well paid jobs.

Training about this “Recognition of the Informal Education” ws conducted by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. During the training the center discussed recommendations forthe project, as well as the preparation of amendments and supplements.

The training's participants discussed stages of recognition of the informal education, responsibilities of the persons involved, mechanisms to ensure transparency and fairness of the process, and its legal consequences.

After the training, participants will be able to determine the professional education program, outcomes, appropriate assessment methods, and tooldevelopment.
