First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Koka Sepherteladze and the head of the Social Service Agency under the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Affairs, Ramaz Sulamanidze visited “Auto Life” factory and met those young people who take up an internship there.
The representatives of the ministries got familiar with the working environment at the factory, where 5 students from socially vulnerable families pursue a specialty of auto mechanics.
Association “Life Chance” founded a factory “Auto Life” in 2010 with a help of Embassy of Germany. The factory recruits students from socially vulnerable families and orphanages and trains them as professional auto mechanics. 17 persons already passed such kind of trainings. One of these students, Nika Batsikadze took a three month long internship in Germany at Ford Apple & Wilhelm Maibach.
From 2012, “Life Chance” is launching a new vocational education courses in cooperation with Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Affairs. The project envisages training the persons from socially vulnerable families and orphanages in auto mechanics field.
