Unique lab was opened in Kutaisi University
SALiS Natural Science lab was opened in Kutaisi Tsereteli University. Such kind of lab started functioning in Ilia University several months ago.
The lab was opened by Deputy Minister Irine Kurdadze. Experiments will be conducted in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with the use of modern technologies in a newly opened lab. Both, university students and schoolchildren can work in the lab.
The new lab was opened as a part of TEMPUS project SALiS and aims at developing new methods of learning of Natural Science subjects and supporting integration of experimental teaching in learning process.
The project also envisages provision of the training for the teachers. Ilia University is the coordinator of the mentioned project and up to ten universities are engaged in it.
Enhancing the learning of natural science subjects is one of the priorities of the Ministry.
