First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze held a work meeting with majoritarian MPs of Georgian Parliament.
Rehabilitation of school infrastructure throughout Georgia, involvement of majoritarian MPs and representatives of local self-governing bodies in this process were discussed at the meeting. Tamar Sanikidze introduced the vision and future plans of the Ministry.
First Deputy Minister noted that the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has allocated considerable amount of money for construction and rehabilitation works, the Ministry has studied and assessed conditions of infrastructure and possesses detailed information on already fulfilled works. With regard to the future construction and rehabilitation works, the Ministry stresses the importance of planning these works together with the Majoritarian MPs and representatives of self-governing bodies as they are familiar with local needs and priorities.
