Aim of the general assembly is to identify problems and challenges and elaborate specific mechanisms in order to solve them.

Participants of the Assembly represented self-government bodies of active pupils and youth clubs. Within the framework of the Assembly, the participants chose future members and approved the action plan. One of the sessions of the event was headed by Deian Bojanic, Board member of European School Students Organizational Bureau. 

The Assembly was opened by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aluda Goglichidze. Deputy Head of Department of Youth from the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs Vakhtang Asanidze, Director of Children and Youth Development Fund Irakli Zhorzholiani and representatives from other institutions attended the event.

The Georgian School Students Unions Alliance is the only non-governmental youth organization which brings together pupils’ self government bodies and clubs. The goal of the organization is to involve pupils in civil activities and encourage their initiatives on regional as well as international levels.
