Within the framework of the project, teachers of vocational education institutions will master technologies of electronic courses and methodology, they will be able to create pilot projects themselves. These projects will be implemented in corresponding educational institutions.
E-learning experts are well aware of the problems in vocational education system. The experts believe that interesting and modern vocational education is possible by means of creating various e-courses (based the vitality of the subject).
Electronic/distance learning is approved in various countries of the world. This vital project has been implemented since 2008 with the support of “Invent” and later by GIZ. As a result, today, e-learning specialists are available in the country; these specialists have implemented a number of pilot projects in their institutions. Full value projects have also been implemented, among them eLearning Course of Georgian, which is available for everyone on the internet (www.ice.ge/elearning_geo) free of charge.
