Winners of Essay Competition were awarded
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia awarded winners of Essay Competition. More than 100 pupils of Kakhi and Balakani participated in the competition. The ceremony was held in Culture House of village Alatemuri.
21 works passed on to the final stage of the Competition. The judges singled out 3 best authors on the regional level.
Marina Shikhamirashvili, a pupil from Kakhi secondary and the winner of the Competition was awarded with a portable computer by the Ministry. The winners of the second and third places were awarded with digital cameras and books by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues.
Except the winners on regional level, holders of the first three places were singled out in each school. They were awarded with money prizes by Foundation Iavnana and the Office of the State Minister of Georgiafor Diaspora Issues.
