Today, Minister of Education and Science Giorgi Margvelashvili handed pectoral award “Amagdari” to Vazha Esartia, physics teacher of Zugdidi Merab Kostava Public School №2.
Vazha Esartia has been working at Zugdidi Public School №2 since 1956. He is actively involved in teaching/learning process, uses modern technologies, and has published collection of recommendations for physics teachers. Vazha Esartia is actively participating in different educational projects. In 2008-2009 he was named the best teacher of the school. Mr. Esartia is a founder and head of scientific center in Zugdidi Public School and author of a number of initiatives. His pupils participate in different exhibitions, are holders of certificates of appreciation. A number of school recourses that filled the school lab were created by these pupils.
With the initiative of Giorgi Margvelashvili, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, pectoral award “Amagdari” was established for special merits in upbringing of future generations. Initially, the Ministry shall award 10 teachers of Georgian public schools.
