First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze held a briefing on extern examinations.

Eligible candidates for registration are those persons who wish to pass extern examinations for the class which corresponds to their age and have passed school programs of the previous class.

There are no age limits for those who desire to pass extern examinations and consequently, those persons who were born in 1996, have passed 11^th grade and wishes to pass examinations in form of externat do not require Minister’s approval.

Those persons who were born in 1996 are authorized to address corresponding Resource Center and register there. Deadline for registration is June 21.

A person born in 1996 shall not be able to receive general education authentication document as a result of passing extern examinations until he/she passes school-leaving examinations (the date of these examinations is not approved yet).

Extern examinations shall be conducted from June 26 to July 9.
