The presentation was attended by Deputy Ministers of Education and Science Aluda Goglichidze and Ketevan Natriashvili, representatives from higher, vocational and general education institutions and other stakeholders.
Need for the development of outsourcing programs in Georgia was emphasized in the course of presentation. IT innovations and programming shall encourage economic growth of the country. Education sector plays a very important role in this regard.
Importance of teaching/training courses focused on export oriented IT programs (Android/iOS) was defined. The issues of re-training acting trainers at private and state education institutions and elaborating short term as well as long-term plans aimed at encouraging programming support in IT sector were also discussed.
The attendees of the meeting discussed the potential of IT innovations market in Georgia, which is capable of encouraging the development of mobile platforms in telecommunications sector as well as important programming in the direction of engineering.
