The visit to the Great Britain included academic as well as non-academic activities. The pupils lived in traditional British families.
“English Language Summer School in Georgia” is one of the four projects implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science within the Program “Intensified Teaching of English Language.” The pupils participated in second stream of the Summer School in July 7-28. The other eight pupils will travel to the Great Britain in September 15.
9th, 10th and 11th graders of Georgian general educational schools are eligible to participate in “English Language Summer School.” Participants are selected based on the results of National Olympiads and basic knowledge of English language. 32 best are selected from 600 pupils to travel to the Great Britain.
In Tskneti Buckswood School pupils have an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of English Language with the help of special textbooks. Foreign teachers who have arrived in Georgia within the Program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” are working as leaders
Activities are elaborated by the English party. These activities focus on intellectual, creative and physical development of a pupil. The number of summer school participants is increasing annually.
