Today, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Tamar Sanikidze and Director of Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Agency, Giga Umekashvili have summarized already accomplished works and defined further steps in regard to the construction process.
Project works for the schools in Lambalo, Samghereti and Akhali Dioknisi are finished at present. Project and preparation works are under way in six other schools.
Construction works will start from the end of November 2013 and last for approximately a year.
According to the plan, Tsilkani, Mukhrani and Abano public schools will be able to receive pupils from the next year. Construction of Bughasheni, Akhali Dioknisi, Samghereti, Sadguri Sviri and Tsipnari public schools are to be finished in 2014. Because of the project scale, Lambalo school construction is going to last for a year and a half.
The Ministry shall introduce action plans to the residents of all nine villages.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will continue defining needs for schools construction in the following year.
