New academic year began at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze and Rector, academician Vladimer Papava congratulated students with the beginning of a new academic year.
Tbilisi State University has more than 5000 first year students, among them are Abkhazian, Azerbaijani and Armenian students enrolled on Georgian Language Preparation Educational Program. The largest number of students with 100% grant was enrolled in Tbilisi State University. TSU is a leader in the number of students with partial financing.
Tatia Sharia, a student with the highest score will study on the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, direction-physics.
TSU meets new academic year with renewed infrastructure. Student service centers are functioning at every faculty. Students will be able to receive information on educational process, educational and exchange programs.
