The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has started a large scale project which envisages organization of visits in order to make presentations on current and planned projects.

Imereti is one of the first regions where Deputy Minister Lia Gigauri and other representatives of the Ministry held a work meeting at #1 Kutaisi Public School with teachers, school principals, representatives of educational resource centers, vocational and higher education institutions.

The aim of the meeting was to introduce ongoing and planned activities, to assess and listen to recommendations on effective work of new projects initiated by the Ministry

Heads and employees of financial, general, vocational and higher education departments participated in the meeting together with the Deputy Minister.

According to the participants of the meeting, every initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science which is focused on education quality enhancement, increase of motivation level among pupils, students and teachers and access to education  is acceptable for them and they will be glad to get involved in the process.
