With the initiative of the Minister of Justice, Public Service Hall shall start issuing ID cards free of charge. Minister Tea Tsulukiani announced the initiative during the briefing at the Ministry of Justice.
Minister of Justice and Minister of Education and Science held a meeting with the representatives of public and private schools and informed them on the details. In the end of the event the Ministers gave new ID cards to 10 teachers.
Issuance of new ID cards shall start on December 23 and last till January 23. Only those teachers of private and public schools, who have not taken ID cards before will be able to get them. Teacher shall not need to present any documents.
Teachers will be able to address the following service centers, located on: David Aghmashenebeli Alley 10th kilometer, (National Bureau of Enforcement); #1 Vazha-Pshavela Av. (National Archive); 89/24 Aghmashenebeli Av., Tbilisi Registry Service of Public Registry (near Metro station Marjanishvili).
Issued documents can be claimed from the left side of the Public Service Hall. Service Centers will be open from 09:00 to 19:00.
During the current year, free ID cards were issued to adult IDPs and persons and persons removed from registration. Public Service Hall has issued about 75 000 free ID cards in total
