Delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia, headed by Minister Armen Ashotyan is visiting Georgia at the invitation of Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. Today, Tamar Sanikidze held an official meeting with the Armenian delegation. 

The Ministers discussed education reforms and projects, as well as future plans and issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the countries in the field of education.

Meetings with heads of different higher education institutions, students and pupils are planned as a part of the visit. It is also planned to conclude a memorandum of cooperation between Georgian and Armenian State Universities.
