Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze and Deputy Ministers held a meeting with the governors. The meeting focused on the rehabilitation of school infrastructure across the country and engagement of the governors and local self-government representatives in the process. Tamar Sanikidze introduced vision of the Ministry, already accomplished projects and future plans to the governors.

Tamara Sanikidze, the Ministry of Education and Science for the construction and rehabilitation of schools - one of the important directions for this purpose , the ministry has allocated considerable funds , examined and assessed the conditions of infrastructure in general , and therefore planned for future rehabilitation work .

Representatives of the Ministry received additional information on the current condition, needs, priorities and suggestions from the governors and their deputies.

Tamar Sanikidze called on the governors to actively engage in ongoing or planned monitoring and rehabilitation activities in their respective regions and to take part in local problem solving processes alongside with the Ministry.
