700 trees were planted In the garden of 59th Public School
In Gldani district 59th Public
School was held planting event. In these event participated Minister of
Education and Science Ms. Tamar Sanikidze, Tbilisi City Mayor Mr. Davit
Narmania, staff of Ministry, resource officers, Head of Ecology and Greenery
Department Mr. Bidzina Giorgobiani, as well as public schools students and
teachers.
On the first stage, on the school territory was planted 500 cypress, 100 ash-tree, 100 maple trees. On the second stage of the project there will be planted for about 800 trees.
Within the framework of public schools yards planting project, which covers 60 schools in Tbilisi and for these moment there is planted 6100 leafy and 1000 coniferous trees, in summary these project foresees planting of 10000 leafy and coniferous trees.
As well as on other territories in public schools, trees planted by the Ecology and Greenery Department of Tbilisi city Mayor, are under care of contractor companies, in case of wither they are obliged to change old young plant with new one on the proper season of the year.
