Professor Swidler is a leading figure in devising energy politics and has been studying issues of energetics for 30 years. He is a member and director of the board of the founders of the San Diego Regional Office for Energetics. He previously worked at the U.S. Senate on the issues of energetics, water supply and national safety. For the last few years, he has been working on issues such as environmental impact on energy consumption, climate change, international safety and distribution of renewable energy technologies.
Within the framework of higher education component of the Millennium Challenge Account-Georgia, San Diego State University (SDSU) offers students a range of high quality accredited (ABET, ACS, WASC) Bachelor programs in the areas of engineering and technology (STEM). The alumni will be awarded American diplomas. The aforementioned programs will help develop technology and natural sciences and prepare highly qualified workforce in Georgia.
