Rehabilitation of public schools by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is proceeding without delays. At this time, the Minister Tamar Sanikidze got familiarized with rehabilitation works going in the school №200 where Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency is carrying out renovation of yard, installation of ramped approach and entrance door to the school.
In Boarding School №200 110 children with Special Educational Needs are studying from which 80 are using boarding service. The Ministry carried out multiple important projects for them, as rehabilitation as well as procurement of needed devices and household appliances which are necessary to this certain specialized school.
In general, development and support for inclusive education is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Education and Science. For children with Special Educational Needs several projects are implemented, including projects which envisage active engagement of pupils in the educational process, providing them with educational programs appropriate for their needs and their integration in the society.
Rehabilitation works in the school №200started on December 6, 2014 and will finish at the end of month.
