The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia within the cooperation with Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia is planning to establish Industrial Innovation laboratories (FABLAB) throughout the community colleges. Another workshop was held on this topic.

At this moment the current situation is being estimated, as a result of which the specific works will be planned. Industrial innovation laboratories will be equipped with up to date high technologies and computer-controlled instruments.

Establishment of the FABLAB’s will boost the quality of professional education. This will enable students to develop essential competences for the international and local labor market.
