The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriahvili got acquainted with the rehabilitation works being carried out at Telavi vocational College ‘’Prestige’’. During the current year, several important infrastructural projects have been implemented: the building has been roofed, windows and doors have been changed, modern heating system has been made, bathrooms on all the four stages have been arranged and adapted to the individuals with special educational needs.
Rehabilitation works still take place at the college which will go on during the following year and finally the college will be equipped with all the necessary devices. College ‘Prestige’, where about 30 vocational programs are implemented, is one of the most successful vocational colleges in Kakheti region.
During 2013-2015 years, complete rehabilitation works have been carried out in 9 vocational schools, 8 vocational education institutions have partially been rehabilitated, 1 dormitory and 1 educational building has been built.
In 2015, 14 million worth of infrastructure projects are being implemented across the state colleges, branches and vocational education program developer higher education institutions. – design, rehabilitation, construction and building adaptation works for PWDS are being processed, as well as constructing workshops and equipping them and designing industrial innovation labs.
