In order to ensure the involvement of employers in vocational education, an important agreement was signed between Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Technological University of Georgia, and Georgian railway.

On the Basis of the agreement, through the co-investment and direct involvement of the sides, Rail transport vocational college will be established which will re-train students in certain directions and employ them afterwards. Georgian Railway, as a customer and employer of the project will be directly involved in the process accompanied by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and Technological university of Georgia.

Modern standards equipped vocational college will re-train about 800 students every year. This is a project, which will directly contribute to solving unemployment problems because re-training programs will be performed on the basis of certain orders. As a result, Georgian Railway will get qualified staff on a specifically required areas.

Student re-training will take place under the special training program at modern standard vocational institution. the representatives of Ministry of Education, Technological university and Georgian railway will be involved in the drafting of the program.
