From now on, the schoolchildren of Azerbaijanian public school №7 in Marneuli will study at the school that is in compliance with modern standards. The school was functioning as the basic school until 2009 and was located in the building, built in 30’ies of the last century. The school was fully renovated by financing the fund of Geidar Aliev in 2009-2010. It is equipped with modern desks and blackboards. The Ministry of Education and Science presented the school with computers and teaching materials in the framework of the program Deer Leap.

The Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shaskini, the Governor of Kvemo Kartli, David Kirkitadze, as well as the Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Gasanov, the representatives of the fund of Geidar Aliev and local self-governments took participation in the opening ceremony of the renovated public school.
In the scope of the visit, Dimitri Shashkini presented the public school №7 in Marneuli with portable computers. Currently, around 100 schoolchildren study at this school.

564,295 GEL was allocated to the municipality of Marneuli in the framework of the President’s national program Iakob Gogebashvili-Public School Renovation. The sum was used to build Algeti public school №2, to renovate Marneuli Public school №5, to equip Shaumiani public school №2 and Marneuli secondary school №2 with heating systems.

New Dioknisi Public school of Marneuli region will be built by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency in 2010.
