On the initiative of Tbilisi Municipality Council, the musical and art competition ‘Tbilisi’ was held. The nominations are distributed to the categories including the best prose work of the year, poetic work, song, artwork, sculpture, architectural work, photographic work, thematic essay- ‘My Tbilisi’ for the students of school age and the special prize of the jury for a distinguished author.

Members of the jury demonstrated the best works after the individual consideration of each participant productions. The award ceremony took place at the King Tamar named hall in the building of Tbilisi Municipality Council within the framework of ‘Tbilisoba’ event.

The winners of the competition were given a prize (a symbol of the artifact from XII century- it is a stylized version of Pheasant figure) created by Giorgi Japaridze (Gia) especially for this contest. At the same time, winners were given the monetary award of 1500 Laris. The author of the best essay of the year Tsotne Tskitishvili was handed the award by the Minister of the Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze.
