The anniversary of Iakob Gogebashvili was celebrated
Iakob Gogebashvili 175th anniversary was celebrated in Nodar Dumbadze named Youth Theatre on the initiative of Writers Union. The event was attended by many respectable guests, including the minister of education and science of Georgia, Tamar Sanikidze. Tamar Sanikidze opened the evening and gave a speech concerning the huge contribution I. Gogebashvili made as an educator and the author of ‘Deda Ena’, founder of scientific pedagogy in Georgia, publicist, children’s literature writer and a public figure in Georgia.
