Tamar Sanikidze continues to visit and observe current needs at renewed schools. This time, the minister visited the municipality of Tchkhorotskhu village Tchogha school. She got aware of the rebuilt works carried out in summer and awarded school respected teacher Davit Dikhaminjia with the ministry honour – badge ‘Amagdari’.
One more of strategic importance educational institution has been rehabilitated under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency. The Municipality of Tchkhototsku village Tchogha school provides primary and secondary stage education with the students on two buildings. During the years, there has been carried out no rehabilitation works and the school students had to get education under a very hard conditions and as a result the population tended to migrate from the village.
This year two blocks of the educational establishment have entirely been rehabilitated on the decision of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. School students will start a new academic year in a completely refurbished and modern standards school. The school is equipped with the new inventory and technologies, school yard has been reconstructed, the school campus is adapted to the special educational needs and disability pupils, there is a school bus that serves the pupils. The new school has attracted the pupils from neighboring villages.
Many successful teachers work in this school. Among them is Mr. Davit Dikhaminjia who has been working here since 2006. Despite the fact that he is going to celebrate his 90th birthday very soon, he conducts his history classes full of energy and enthusiasm. Before he started his pedagogical career, Mr. Davit held various posts in educational system and he succeed in all of them. Davit dikhaminjia received a deserved award that is given by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia to the education staff members who made a special contribution in the education of future generation.
