Within the scope of the National Curriculum revision, a business meeting was held between the Georgian and Estonian experts, organized by the National Curriculum Department of the Ministry of Education and Science. The main topic of the meeting was the “development of the national curriculum and the implementation of the secondary level”.
The event was held under the project, which is supported by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Children's Fund for the third year.
Presentations were made by Einar Vara and Natalia Mialitsina - the experts of the “Innove” Fund of the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research. The guests shared their experience on issues such as the general principles of the secondary structure, the aspects of general and vocational educational integration. After the presentations, there was a discussion on the following topics: alternative methods of developing the secondary level and a diversified training.
The business meeting was opened by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science – Ms. Lia Gigauri, and included the participation of the experts of the National Curriculum Department, International and localNGOs, as well as the representatives of schools (administration and teachers).
