The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Ms. Tamar Sanikidze, the first Deputy Minister – Ms. Ketevan Natriashvili and Deputy Minister – Mr. George Sharvashidze held a meeting with the Deputy General Girector of the EU neighborhood enlargement and negotiation – Ms. Katarina Maternova.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the bilateral and multilateral cooperative issues between Georgia and the EU, such as the program – “Erasmus +”, its component e-Twinning and the prospects of the partnership development regarding the EU Technical Assistance program TAIEX. Additionally, the two parties discussed the idea of implementing a new European school with the aid of EU Technical Assistance, which will attract people between the age of 15-18 and will promote the internationalization of Georgian education.
