Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia– Ms. Lia Gigauri visited Borjomi 3rd public school and attended "Youth Involvement Center" special class, the theme of which was "the democratic values and human rights." The format of the class in the “Youth Involvement Center” was a TV dialogue, where the teenagers had the opportunity to ask relevant questions to the guests.
During the meeting, the participants discussed topics such as the cooperation between the Georgian and US governments, the collaboration between the Youth and the Ministry of Internal affairs, Youth educational programs, the youth programs at the Ministry of Education and Science, the problems amongst Youth in Georgia and United States – employement, free time management, and etc.
Guests from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Education and Science and the representatives of United States embassy in Georgia were invited for this special class.
Young people in Borjomi are engaged in different activities after school at the Youth Involvement Center; including preparing various TV programs, and etc. At this stage, there are 20 senior student members at the Center – four from Borjomi and one from Kbivisi public school.
