The students of programming, engineering and mathematics at the Technical University presented their own projects. The presentation was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science – Ms. Lia Gigauri, the dean of the Technical University – Mr. Archil Frangishvili and the representatives of various schools.

The projects created in the fields of magnetiscm, electrics, and utilized optics, as well as the student created educational robotechnics and their programing earned a great approval from the audience.

The above-mentioned youth projects were created based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) – an educational system using modern technologies. The mentioned courses are implemented with an active cooperation between schools and the department of physics engineering  at the Technical University. The project is led by the head of the Virtual Modeling Center – Mr. David Songhulashvili, and other representatives of the physics department.

STEM educational system is helping out interested  students with the extracurricular courses such as creating handmade materials for the laboratories and natural sciences subjects.  Together with enhancing their theoricitical knowledge during the lessons, it helps students to put the knowledge into practice, which creates a motivation for the natural sciences and promotes the growth of interest towards innovative technologies and science in general.
