Within the scope of the education reform’s one of the priority areas - the development of market-oriented educational system, a pilot course if career planning and professional orientation was introduced to the public schools. In order to create a program development and come up with the best available model, the head of the Psychological Center – Mr. Levan Zardalishvili, together with the team of career planning, psychologists and other representatives of the center are visiting Czech Republic on a business meeting, invited by the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth Affairs of Czech Republic. Czech Republic has implemented this program for a long time, the program has gone through various stages of development, and today it is considered as one of the most succssessful models.
During the visit, an important meeting was held at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth Affair of Czech Republic, where the Ministry officials held an extensive presentations of Czech education system, in conjunction with discussing the new approaches on education, learning, improving the quality and receivinga results-oriented teaching / learning process.
During the visit in Prague, the Georgian delegation met with the teachers and practitioners in the fields of career planning and professional orientation, and had a training session.
Furthermore, after reviewing the received information, the Georgian delegation designed their own recommendations. The exchange of experience from a successful country is a necessary adjustment to the requirements of modern education system development.
