The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Aleksandre Jejelava hosted a meeting with the Dutch Ambassador in Georgia – Mr. Johanes Duma. At the introductory meeting, the two discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation. Additionally, the Minister introduced his future visions in regards to the development of Georgian educational system, as well as strengthening a non-formal educational component in general education.
The sides during the meeting also discussed, the Dutch project “Tolerance training and civic education” and the cooperation between the two countries n this matter, the prospects of future collaboration in the fields of higher education and science, and emphasized the scholarship and grants in the EU’s research and innovation program “Horizon 2020”.
