The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia – Mr. Levon Mkrtchyan together with the head of the Diaspora and Foreign Relations Mr. Karen Mnatsakanyan visited the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

Honorary guests were greeted by the head of the Center – Tamar Sanikidze along with the senior officials. The two sides discussed their countries’ educational systems, the ongoing changes and reforms and shared their experiences.

The Center held a presentation regarding their major activities and quality assurance mechanisms for the external use. Also the Georgian side presented the results regarding the quality assurance development schemes and the general steps taken towards this direction. The Armenian delegation was particularly interested by the degree of the Center’s independence, in conjunction with creating joint educational programs and the accreditation system.

Towards the end of the meeting the sides agreed to continue their active cooperation.
