On September 15, a new academic year has started in the public schools of Georgia. The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia congratulated the students, parents and teachers with the beginning of the new academic year from the Komarov Physics and Mathematics school. On the same day, the Minister visited public schools N60, N186, N112 and the private school “Poligloti” and congratulated the start of the new academic year to the school administration in person.

This year, the number of students in first grade is the highest, and all the students will receive a computer.

The construction of 10 schools is finalized, and there are 11 new schools being built. In addition, the construction project for the seven new schools is created and the tender for the construction will be soon announced in near future. Moreover, hundreds of public schools gave been renovated under the Millennium compact framework.

The new academic year will be rather exciting for the students, as it will be loaded with new programs, projects and opportunities.
