Within the scope of the Georgian-German scientific bridge, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University held an opening ceremony for its SMART | Lab. SMART | Lab will help the students to engage in the international studies at the Jülich Research Center. Furthermore, this type of cooperation will promote on one hand, the rich practical experience and on the other hand enhance the theoretical knowledge and help share it.
The ongoing works at SMART | EDM_Lab, will aid the Georgian students to acquire modern skills in experimental physics, which entails: Electronics, programming, IT and computer equipment, mechanical and software engineering, data statistical analysis, modeling and many more. It should be noted, that the above-mentioned skills will be employed whilst engaged in a scientific project, which itself grants various opportunities. Moreover, this will greatly aid Georgian scientists in better understanding the world, and explore the universe from the Big Bang up to now.
