Due to the International Teachers Day, a ceremonial teachers’ reception was held at the Teachers Professional Development Center. The Minister of Education and Science – Aleksandre Jejelava, the Deputy Minister – Lia Gigauri and the director of the Teachers Professional Development Center – Giorgi Machabeli congratulated the festive occasion to more than 100 successful teachers. 

Teachers involved in various programs and projects were rewarded. Additionally, the representatives of Liberty Bank, awarded 10 teachers with the “world-scale lesson” award.

On this day, three winning writers of the literary competition, organized by the Teacher Professional Development Center were revealed, and were awarded with the gifts and cash prizes.
