The Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Giorgi Chakhnashvili met with around 200 teachers of Poti public schools and spoke about 2010-2011 planned innovations in the general education.
Giorgi Chakhnashvili got familiarized with the problems, existing at schools and answered the questions about teachers certification exams, the National Curriculum and school infrastructure improvement process, the safe schools and other important issues.
The Deputy Minister visited the chemical laboratory of the school in the framework of this event. The name of the laboratory is in memory of its founder, the merited teacher, Ms. Tinatin Chochua. It is one of the unique laboratories in Georgia. It was equipped by Dutch partners with the support of the First Lady of Georgia, Sandra Elizabeth Reolofs.
Giorgi Chakhnashvili attended the event, dedicated to the memory of Tina Chochua. The initiators of this event were the graduates of Poti public school #1.
