A new cable was unveiled by one of the leading manufacturer’s in the world - Doppelmayr”. The Prime Minister of Georgia attended the grand opening ceremony, with other members of Georgian government. In 2016, a new vocational educational institution was founded, by the collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Mountain Resorts Development Company and the Mountain Guides Association. The institution received its first students in Autumn, and commenced the educational programs in the field of adventure tourism.
