Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Teimuraz Murghulia held a working meeting with the President of University College Dublin (UCD), Professor Andrew J. Deeks.
The parties discussed the ways of strengthening of academic cooperation between the educational institutions of Georgia and the University College Dublin at the meeting.
Within the framework of the delegation of the Ireland University, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by and between the International Center for Education and the University College Dublin (UCD), which envisages strengthening of international cooperation between the parties in the educational process and training of the Georgian students with the graduate and doctoral programs of the Dublin University College.
This Memorandum will be a step forward in the educational relations between Georgia and Ireland and will enable talented Georgian students to master the desired specialties, to enhance knowledge and professional experience. The Memorandum also provides important financial benefits for students financed by the Center for International Education, which will be enrolled in Master and Doctor Degree Programs of the University College Dublin.
Within the framework of the visit, the meetings were also held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Tbilisi State University.
