Within the framework of the information days of “Horizon 2020”, the information day of the European Union Framework Program for Research and Innovation - “Horizon 2020” was held to the direction of safe, clean and efficient energy in the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

On the information day, the meeting audience was informed of the objectives and rules of participation in program “Horizon 2020”, as well as the competitions announced and scheduled to the direction of energy within the framework of the program “Horizon 2020”. The opportunities available to the direction of Marie Sklodowska-Curie Program for training of the researchers and development of research curriculum: current and planned competitions were briefly reviewed.

On the information day, the representatives of the research institutes and universities were informed of one more supporting financial instrument of the program “Horizon 2020”, within the framework of which the less-developed institutions in terms of research and innovation, will enjoy the opportunity of friendhip with the EU’s leading research institutions and / or the universities in order to strengthen their scientific and technological level.
