Project “Quark” is another project to win the makeathon “Your Startup Idea in Reality”, held by Ilia State University and Iliauni Industrial Innovations Laboratory (FabLab Iliauni) – a ball acting as a guide helping you find the desired place or item. The project idea belongs to San Diego State University students - Lana Rekhviashvili and Ana Lomashvli, as well as Tbilisi State University student Ekaterine Dadiani.  

Current “Quark” prototype has a small remote control through which the user enters parameters of the desired item or place. The remote control receives the command and transmits it to “Quark”. Prior to receiving the command “Quark” is blue, subsequent to receiving the command it changes colour and becomes green and after it fulfils the command and finds the relevant place or item it gets red. “Quark” remains red until the user gets to the destination, then it loses colour. Change of colour makes communication between the user and “Quark” easier. The girls plan to develop “Quark” prototype and work on many other new projects.
