The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia continues consideration of the draft law on Vocational Education. This time, a working meeting held involved representatives of Vocational and Higher Education Institutions.

The draft law aims at creating firm legal bases for the implementation of national priorities in the field of Vocational Education. Respective stakeholders and the Ministry’s social partners, as well as representatives of international organizations were involved in the elaboration of the document. At the same time, it should be noted that the draft law has been developed in view of a local context, as well as the best European experience.

The Document has been put on the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia’s website for already a month. Every concerned person can present proposals and suggestions for its improvement to the March 31, inclusive, current year.
