The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is implementing the Georgian language distant learning projects for Georgian children living abroad. Children of 5-15 years of age with zero, minimal or average level of knowledge of the language can apply for the project. Lessons will be provided via Internet in direct mode by qualified teachers of the Georgian language.

In November-December 2016 pilot regime was launched in Great Britain. Total 15 lessons were provided. The pilot regime was successful and due to the fact that other countries were also interested the project grew. At this stage the project can be launched in other European countries as well.
