San Diego State University rugby team visited Georgia within celebration events dedicated to 25-year anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States of America and Georgia. Ian C. Kelly, the US Ambassador to Georgia held a reception at his residence as a respect to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Aleksandre Jejelava, the minister of Education and Science of Georgia and American rugby players.

Friendly match between American and Georgian rugby players will be held on April 2.
