Within the framework of the International Conference of University Presidents of Vienna, the solemn reception – Georgian evening was held at the Hofburg Palace, where the conference participants, the representatives of the Georgian and Austrian governments were invited. The dance group of the Georgian National University danced the Georgian national dances at the event to present the Georgian culture.
Within the framework of the reception, the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science - Aleksandre Jejelava made the speech. The Minister spoke about the Georgian educational system, introduced the program “Study in Georgia” to the participants and provided information about the higher educational institutions of Georgia. In the evening, the participants were able to get the necessary contacts, as well as to discuss the possibility of introduction of joint training programs with the foreign universities.
The guests also had an opportunity to taste the Georgian wine and see photo and video materials depicting study in Georgia and potential of Georgian tourism.
