The winners of the contest “New Georgian Play 2019”, founded by Mikheil Tumanishvili Foundation, were announced at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia met with the directors of state vocational colleges. During the meeting the current changes and future plans of the entire system were discussed.

Levan Kharatishvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, within the framework of the TAIEX (European Commission Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument) Program, launched an Expert Mission on the following topic: "Safeguarding and Risk Management of Georgian Cultural Heritage in Emergency Situations".

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Ekaterine Dgebuadze together with the Head of Council of Europe Office in Georgia - Cristian Urse met with the winners of the “European Heritage Creators Week” and presented them with the certificates of Appreciation.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Georgia and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, have evaluated the general education system in Georgia and produced a report.
