On January 28, the National Museum of Georgia hosted a seminar titled "Designing and Management of 21st Century Museums". The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Levan Kharatishvili, together with the Chairman of Education, Science and Culture Committee Mariam Jashi, Italian Ambassador Enrico Bartoli and Director of National Museum David Lortkipanidze.

Natia Zedginidze, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, together with the Head of Infrastructure Development Agency - Zviad Rostomashvili and local self-government representatives, opened yet another public school in Martvili municipality village Nabegerao.

Natia Zedgenidze, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia got familiarized with the ongoing educational infrastructure projects in Kaspi municipality.

Within the framework of the Education Reform, which envisages a maximum level of integration of Georgian scholars in scientific structures of leading countries of Europe, a full training was conducted by the representative of the Swiss National Science Foundation - Mr. Timothy Ryan.

Within the framework of the Education Reform, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport - Mikheil Batiashvili together with Nika Doborjginidze - the head of the Technologies and Innovations Group of the Ministry and the IT expert Sandro Asatiani, have presented the innovation projects that are planned within the forthcoming education reform.

On January 10-15 of the current year, 82 teams from 18 countries participated in Zhautikov Olympiad held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Amongst the participating teams were Tbilisi Komarov and Vekua schools, as well as Razmadze Physics and Mathematical school in Kutaisi.

The National Council for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Georgia has discussed the success and challenges achieved in Georgia. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Natia Zedginidze, who spoke about the challenges in the field of education and science.

Two more schools have been added to the list of fully rehabilitated public schools, funded by the Millennium Challenge Fund. Natia Zedginidze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, together with the Executive Director – Magda Maghradze, government officials and local self-government representatives, opened the 6th and 7th public schools in Zestaponi, where up to 2000 pupils can now enjoy, a modern, fully refurbished and fully equipped school premises.

Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, together with the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakhi Kaladze and invited guests, laid the foundation for the construction of the "New Education and Science City", which will be built on the array of 12th km of David Aghmashenebeli Alley.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia starts to get acquainted with the reforms in the education system. Minister Mikheil Batiashvili will introduce the information himself to the general public regarding the specific reforms.
