Mikheil Batiashvili - the candidate for the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, spoke about the future plans of promotion and development of Georgian sport, during his speech, delivered to the Georgian Parliament.
Mikheil Batiashvili – the candidate for the minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, specially emphasized the importance of general education while addressing the Parliament, in conjunction with explaining the importance of developing technologies in the educational platform.
Mikheil Batiashvili – the candidate for the minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, presented his views on higher education and science at the joint sitting of the committees at the Parliament of Georgia, which will thus be presented in detail, in the new strategic document. Various local and international experts of the relevant field will be involved in creating it.

An interim assessment of dual vocational education program - "viticulture-winemaker" was held in Georgia for the first time. The evaluation was carried out in two stages, the first stage-theoretical exam was conducted in dual program implementing vocational colleges, whereas the practical examination was held in one of the wine manufacturing enterprises. The students were given the chance to put forth their theoretical knowledge and apply it to the real work/operational situations, whilst paying attention to the work safety guidelines and regulations, which is in turn in full compliance with the learning process.
The retraining of pre-school coordinators, tutors and teachers has begun at the National Center for Teacher Professional Development. The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Lia Gigauri and the Director of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development – Giorgi Machabeli got acquainted with the entire training course.
A nine-meter diameter Protective Aluminum Structures are being manufactured by the Georgian Technical University, intended for the Atlas experiment at the European Center for Nuclear Studies (CERN). The constructions are made on the industrial base of Elita-Burji plant. Furthermore, the design and the entire manufacturing procedure is carried out according to the ISO international standards. Today, an important part of the construction will be first sent to Geneva, where the structure will receive its final touches.
The Youth Policy Management Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, together with the World Vision-Georgia and a USAID governed project - "Growth", jointly implemented the project - Strengthening Youth Services in Local Self-Governments. The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Teimuraz Murgulia held an informational meeting with the participating leaders of the project, aiming to get acquainted with a detailed information about the project.
