A Memorandum of cooperation was signed between the National Center for Children and Youth of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Emergency Management Agency under the subordination of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
Georgian language academic department is now successfully functioning at the Paris Oriental Languages and Civilizations University (INALCO). A mountain-skiing sports camp has been launched in Bakuriani, under healthy lifestyle project framework.
The camp aims at promoting mountain skiing to Georgian students and its beneficiaries signify 11-14-year-old students across Georgia. The camp is implemented under the informal education methodology and includes sports, educational, cognitive and cultural activities.

Within the scope of the European Union Technical Assistance Project, a strategic planning manual for the vocational college managers was designed. The manual was created under the Action Plan framework, within the scope of the vocational Education Reform Strategy 2017, according to which a series of training for the administrative personnel is planned in the pilot educational institutions.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli – The minister of Education and Science of Georgia, held a meeting with the minister of Education of Finland – Ms. Sanni Grahn-Laasonen. The meeting primarily focused on novelties, innovations and existing challenges in the educational systems of the aforementioned countries. Moreover, Mikheil Chkhenkeli spoke extensively regarding the amendments in the Georgian school educational system and offered his Finnish colleague an active involvement in the process.
